Guinea Pigs Wanted!
Choose your mission
Ninety minutes of English, free, on Zoom. Small groups, a native-speaker teacher, and one goal: win the game.
Two minutes to sign up, ten for the level test. Free.
The missions
Trading Game
Buy, sell, haggle. Four teams, a market that shifts every round, and only the best negotiators finish first.
Pandemic
Four outbreaks, a team of specialists with different skills, not much time. Coordinate, decide, save the world.
Desert Island
coming soon Shipwrecked on a desert island. What do you salvage, who does what, and how do you survive until rescue.
Truth Seekers
coming soon
One of you is lying. Listen, question, and unmask them before it's too late.
Every mission shares one rule: English only. The push to stay in English comes from your teammates, not just the teacher.
How it works
- Sign up and do the briefing. A two-minute form and a short test (10 minutes), so we can put you in a group at your level.
- Get your mission. We'll email you the date, time and Zoom link. Sessions run on weekday afternoons.
- Play. Then tell us what you loved and what we can do better.
Grown-ups welcome
The missions aren't just for teenagers. If it's been years since you spoke English, or you've never spoken it without worrying about mistakes, this is ninety minutes where nobody corrects you and the only thing that matters is the game. Separate adult groups, same games, same energy.
Who we are
Since 2017 Smarter English has run full immersion weeks in over 300 Italian schools, with more than 10,000 students. These games were born in those classrooms. Now we're taking them online, and we want them to work just as well.
